Program : Reconstrained Design – Towards a Living Button is a speculative design research project developed as part of my MA in Research in Design (ENS Paris-Saclay / ENSCI–Les Ateliers).
The project explores how the push button could be reinvented in a post-petrochemical era. It proposes future scenarios for low-carbon interactive technologies through the development of responsive biomaterial buttons that react to body heat, perspiration, and heartbeat to trigger digital interactions—demonstrated here through a video game interface.
The research also investigates the sustainability of technologies by exploring the concept of an invisible button activated through electromagnetic fields. Research project supervised by Clarisse Barbot.
